Ileodictyon cibarium Tul. The White Basket Fungus. A member of the Stinkhorn family. Found in Australia and new Zealand, but it may well occur in other countries as the spores are carried round the world. Found growing in grassland or on plant debris, especially wood chip mulch. These pictures came to me from Steve Jacobs in Invercargill New Zealand, many thanks Steve.
